Educating young minds through the ARTs.

Kindergarten has been working on making predictions.  They are making predictions about everything from books we will read, to what is for lunch and what the day will look like.  In our room we made a prediction about how Granny Smith and Red Delicious apples would taste.  They predicted that the Granny Smith would taste sour or bitter and the Red Delicious apple would taste sweet.  After the taste test they revisited their predictions to find that they were right on!

Allysha and Jonathan taste their apples.

Chase illustrates his favorite flavor.

We also made predictions during our Morning Meeting about what our day would look like.  Below are some pictures of children explaining their illustrated predictions!

“We will dance.” Miles Stokes

” I think we will dance to music.” Ryan Taylor

”We will eat lunch” Charles Jackson
